Rosphalt launches low temperature version

ROSPHALT –LT (Lower Temperature)

During the last few years we have listened to our Agencies, Specifiers, and Asphalt Producers regarding High Temperature operations.

Without any changes to product design we have spent countless hours doing a variety of test on existing designs, compaction, plant processing and paving operations from both laboratory and actual field trials.

We are pleased to announce Rosphalt can now be processed at nominal temperatures without any sacrifice to product performance.

During the 2010 Paving season Rosphalt Guidelines will be changed to reflect standard temperature processing.

ADVANTAGES:

  1. Lower temperature reduces plant energy consumption.
  2. Lower temperature allows for more flexibility at Asphalt plant operations.
  3. Lower temperature reduces smoke generation.
  4. Lower temperature reduces plant and on-site temperature requirements (More flexibility).
  5. Continued impermeability ratings
  6. Continued durability
  7. Continued reduced rutting/shoving
  8. Continued low cost alternatives to concrete/epoxy overlays and spray applied systems.
